Video Data Capture
We have introduced a new range of advanced video detection and recording equipment as part of our data capture capabilities.
The SD06 range of recorders now include greater high-mast capabilities and enhanced recording quality and stability.
Our teams of surveyors will be utilising this equipment in all video surveys from December 2006 onwards.
New Hand Tally Counters
We have introduced new ranges of Hand Tally Counters. You can now purchase counters in coloured ABS plastic finishes,
chrome finish or our original yellow finish. Counters now also have optional bases and carry handles and carry a range
of quantity discounts that make them the lowest priced tallies available. Prices have been included in the products section,
but discounts are always available.
Electronic Hand Tally Counters
We have added a small selection of 'Electronic Hand Tally Counters' to our range. Price discounts are also available on these products.
New Clamp Designs
Our 'O' and 'D' Section End Plates have been redesigned to include smooth rounded edges for greater safety.
Pictures of the designs are available here.
New Screw-Bolt available
A new screw-bolt has been introduced to give engineers the option of a product that hammers into the road surface and will maintain its grip
before being screwed out using a spanner to protect the surface. Details can be found here
New Catalogue Release!
The new Road Runner TCA colour catalogue and price-list T35 was released in March 2007!
If you didn`t receive your copy, please contact us and we will send one to you immediately.
Work Bases
These bases are now fully operational and will handle automatic, video and manual traffic and transportation surveys. For information on survey turnaround times
and new pricing for these areas please contact Derek Bissett.
Road Tube
The industry standard - used by most ATC manufacturers, local authorities and consultancies throughout the UK and Europe.
Road Runner TCA only supplies Natural Rubber road tube as this gives higher accuracy and durability compared to synthetic tubes.
Advances in technology have meant that our natural rubber road tube now has a built in resistance to ultraviolet light and ozone
without compromising quality. The `O` section roll length is now 37m and a 100m Drum is also now available.
Hand Tally Counters in colours...
Hand Tally Counters are now available in different colours. The bright new
casings now make these counters easily identifiable during surveys in darkness
or adverse weather conditions. The new standard colour is yellow with other
colours available subject to a minimum order quantity. Why not let us provide
you with these counters in your own company's colours!
Hand Tally Handle Upgrade
A new handle has been added to the multiple Hand Tally Counters range
that allows the user an improved grip when returning the count to zero. When the
handle is in an upright position you can be sure that the count shows '0000' when visibility
is poor.
A new Hand Tally size
The range has now been expanded to include an 'Eight Bank' version of
the Hand Tally, designed specifically to allow larger classified traffic counts to
be undertaken with a single unit. A larger clipboard and mounting have been developed
to accommodate this new product.
Improved Road Clamps
Road clamps for holding tubing onto the road surface now incorporate a
stronger and more durable rubberised canvas grip to provide improved flexibility
and give better resistance to wheel impacts.
New Clamps
We have introduced two new types of road clamp for lighter use roads.
The `figure 8` clamp and the `C` clamp can be found in our new catalogue.
